With recent changes limiting the access some patients have to Piedmont Healthcare facilities, we, at The Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Georgia, are letting you know that we can continue to provide specialized care you can trust.
 
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield’s decision to make Piedmont Healthcare “out-of-network,” negatively impacts the ability of Blue Cross Blue Shield-insured patients to obtain diagnostic and treatment services at Piedmont. It may also preclude you from seeing Piedmont-affiliated orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeons.
 
Since the Piedmont radiology facilities are also no longer accessible, we can obtain digital x-rays for you in any of our three offices and expedite evaluation by one of our hand and upper extremity surgeons, who are “in-network” providers for all Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans. We also take care of patients of all ages.
 
If surgery is required, we are affiliated with Northside Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and can utilize these hospitals to provide "in-network" surgical care.
