Dr. Bryce Gillespie and his co-authors from Boston Children's Hospital published "Recovery of Motor Nerve Injuries Associated With Displaced, Extension-type Pediatric Supracondylar Humerus Fractures" in the October 2019 issue of the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics.
The research study looked at the recovery of nerve injuries that cause hand/wrist weakness as a result of supracondylar distal humerus fractures in children. These elbow fractures are the most common arm fractures in kids.
